The Clinton Herald Saturday March 4, 1950 p. 8 Mrs. Benjamin Buckley, 61, of 238 Fifteenth avenue, South, died at 2:30 a.m. today in Jane Lamb hospital after having been rushed to the hospital in the city ambulance last Saturday. Mrs. Buckley was born May 7, 1888, in Clinton, the daughter of Gustav E. and Bertha Hagberg. On August 3, 1918, she married Benjamin Buckley, also of Clinton. Surviving are her husband; one son, Charles Varney, of Sabula; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Smith, Clinton; one brother, Fred Hagberg; two step children, Mrs. Harry Spooner, Clinton, and Benoit Buckley, of Clinton; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. The body reposes in the Dalton funeral chapel where friends may call. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. M.E. Lesher officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
