FREEDOM, Calif. — James Richard Proost passed away at his Freedom, California, home on Wed., Oct. 22nd, at the age of 61.James was born in Milwaukee, Wis., and lived in Clinton, IA, for several years.He is survived by his wife, Cheryl of forty years; his son, Andon (Amy) Proost of Watsonville; his brothers, Joseph (Wanda) Proost of Watsonville and Frank (Judy) Proost of Camanche, IA; a grandchild, Bailey, of Watsonville; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service was held on Sat., Oct. 25th, at 1 p.m. at Davis Memorial Chapel, Watsonville, California.Death date: Oct. 22, 2008
