TRENTON, Ohio — On Oct. 9, 2008, C.C. was involved in a tragic accident that took her life after only 15 short years. C.C. was born in Clinton, Iowa, on December 21, 1992, to Brad and Laura Johannsen. She was accompanied into life by her twin sister, Aleshia Grant Johannsen. C.C. was an organ donor and was cremated as she wanted. C.C., as she was commonly called, spent most of her childhood in Fulton and Prophetstown, Ill., with her twin, Aleshia, and her Father Brad. As a teen, she came to reside with her mother, stepdad and older sister, Chance Johannsen, in Trenton, Ohio. She was active in cheerleading and basketball. She enjoyed duck hunting with her Dad and sister. She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed online myspace chatting and had many friends who loved her. She was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and spent countless hours with her twin sister, Aleshia, and sister, Chance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. C.C. is survived by her Father Brad Johannsen and stepmother, Cindy Nanninga, Prophetstown, Ill.; mother, Laura Steele and stepdad, Blake Steele, Trenton, Ohio; twin sister, Aleshia Johannsen, Prophetstown, Ill.; sister, Chance Johannsen, Trenton, Ohio; brother, Heath Johannsen, Trenton, Ohio; stepsister, Ashlie Hartman, Prophetstown, Ill.; grandmother, Pat Claussen and stepgrandfather, Jim Claussen, of Camanche; grandfather, Larry Johannsen of DeWitt, Iowa; grandparents, Walt and Cheryl Burk, Savanna, Ill.; uncle, Trent Johannsen, Camanche, Iowa; and aunt, Angie Johannsen, Davenport, Iowa.Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Bosma-Gibson Funeral Home, Prophetstown, Ill.Send online condolences to www.bosmarenkes.com.Death date: Oct. 9, 2008
