DEWITT — Charles “Chuck” P. Hunter, 86, of DeWitt, died Sunday at West Wing Place in DeWitt. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. H. Robert Harness officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery with a luncheon following the burial at Buzzy’s in Welton. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:45 p.m. given by the members of the local council of the Knights of Columbus and a prayer service given by Sister Theresa Ann Spitz at 8 p.m.Death date: Oct. 12, 2008
