HIBBING, Minn. — Shelly L. Seats, 44, Hibbing, died Monday in her home. She was born on January 21, 1964, in Monmouth, IL, to John Seats and Bonnie McCoy. She lived most of her life in northern Minnesota, most recently living at Winston Courts Apartments in Hibbing. Shelly was known as a happy person who liked horses. She was a member of the Ojibwa Tribe and she will be missed.She is survived by her mother, Bonnie McCoy, of Monmouth, IL; her father, John Seats, of Coralville, IA; a brother, Everett (Mary) Seats, of Clinton, IA; a nephew, Brad Seats, of Springfield, IL, and two nieces, Mercedes Seats of Macomb, IL and Tara Seats of Clinton, IA. A funeral service for Shelly will be held at a later date in Galesburg, Illinois. Local arrangements are with Dougherty Funeral Home, Hibbing. Death date: October 6, 2008
