CLINTON — Louise G. (Lanaghan) Lange, age 95, of Clinton, died Saturday Oct 4, 2008, at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be John, Michael, Jonathon and P.J. Lanaghan, Patrick Smith and James McDonald. Memorials may be given to the Alverno. Louise was born on Aug. 12, 1913, in Preston, IA, the daughter of John and Anna (Yockum) Otten. She graduated from Preston High School in 1931. She married Wilford Lanaghan in 1933 in Charlotte; he died in 1977. She then married Marvin Lange in 1981 in Clinton; he died in 1995. Louise was a clerk at Second Street Cleaners for many years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. She was a volunteer at Mercy Medical Center Hospice Auxiliary and at the gift shop until the age of 90. She hosted the family Christmas gatherings for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Louise is survived by her two sons, Richard (Barbara) Lanaghan of Rockford, IL, and Rodney (Patricia) Lanaghan of Iowa City, IA; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
