MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Betty Jean Ostrum, 85, of Mount Carroll, died Sunday at Freeport Health Network Memorial Hospital, Freeport, Ill. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Nov. 1 at Frank-Law-Jones Funeral Home, Mount Carroll, with Pastor Mike Majeski of New Hope Assembly of God Church, Platteville, Wis., officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Death date: October 5, 2008
