CLINTON — Nancy B. Kratz, age 64, of Clinton, died Friday Oct. 3, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Rodger Holm, Patrick Driscoll, Steve Kratz, Larry Kahler, Mark Schroeder, Kevin Andresen and Larry Butt. Honorary pallbearer will be Dale Boekeloo.

Nancy was born on Oct. 4, 1943, in Clinton, the daughter of Alfred and Catherine (Hughes) Luckritz. She married David Kratz on Jan. 28, 1966, in Clinton, he died in 2003. She worked at Fun-n-Games in downtown Clinton for many years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and 55 Alive Club. Nancy loved her cats and feeding a host of wild animals in her front yard. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her three daughters, Carrie Bynum of Reno, NV, Kim (Steve) Smith of Mobile, AL, and Lisa Reuter of Clinton; her stepson, Tom Robinson of Clinton; adoptive son, Pat Driscoll of Clinton; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandsons; three sisters, Shirley Kuehl of Clinton, Judy Nissen of Silver Springs, FL, and Carol (Dick) Winter of Miles, IA; and two brothers, Allen (Grace) Luckritz and Jack (Darlene) Kuehl, both of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
