Hilbert, Harold Robert "BoB" View/Sign Guest Book

CLINTON — Harold Robert “BoB” Hilbert, 82, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, October 7th, at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday at Sacred Heart Church, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Lemke Funeral Home North from 3 to 8 p.m. with the rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday. There will be an additional visitation from 9 a.m. until the service time Friday. Interment will be at the Charlotte Catholic Cemetery. Harold was born on August 27th, 1926, in Rushtown, Ohio, the son of George and Mary (Cattee) Hilbert. He graduated from Amboy High School, Amboy, Illinois. He married his wife, Rosella (O’Connor) on October 24th, 1959, at St. Irenaues Church, in Clinton. He owned “Bob” Hilbert Standard Service, in Clinton, for 32 years. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, VFW Lifetime Member and Illowa Coin Club as the past president. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Harold is survived by his wife, Rosella; seven daughters, Catherine (Thomas) Buelow, of Clinton; Patricia (David) Wilke of Swartz Creek, Michigan; Jacqueline (William) Archer, of Sabula, Iowa; Teresa (Bruce) Davis, of Sparta, Wisconsin; Constance (Thomas) Henle, of Clinton; Kristine (Steven) Morris, of Prophetstown, Illinois; Nicole Hilbert, of Clinton; and two sons, Robert (Lisa) Hilbert, of Clinton; and Michael Hilbert of Alaska; 21 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lucille (Dwight) Arnold of Franklin Grove, Illinois; Rita Builderback of Evansville, Indiana; and Vivian (Karlis) Jostsons of Rock Falls, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Pallbearers will be his sons-in-law and honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Judd and Jim Stone. Memorials may be made to the Prince of Peace Building Fund. Death date: Oct. 7, 2008
