MAQUOKETA — Alverda Hanna Meta Flagel, 93, of Maquoketa, died Saturday. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Salem Lutheran Church, Andrew, with Intern Pastor Chad Whaley officiating. Burial will be in the Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa.Death date: Sept. 27, 2008
