MEMPHIS, Mo. — Barry Dwight Beckwith, 60, Memphis, MO, passed away Sept. 28, 2008, in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Church of the Open Door, in Clinton, IA. Mr. Beckwith was born April 18, 1948, in Clinton, IA. Mr. Beckwith previously owned and operated Gateway Sewer and Plumbing. He loved his Harley Davidson chopper, camping, watching old movies and gardening. He was a member of Church of the Open Door, in Clinton. He was preceded in death by his father Dwight; mother Shirley; uncles, Jim and Gary Easley; and a brother, David.Survivors include, Tonya (Paul) Balcom, Woodland, TX, Tammy (Marc) Guild, Ankeny, IA, Sylvia (Ryan) Lonsdale, Ankeny, IA, Cassandra Beckwith, Raytown, MO; sisters Susan (Greg) Sieh, Indian Rocks Beach, FL, and Debbie (Greg) Soenksen, Clinton, IA; a brother, Jeff (Vicki) Beckwith, Clinton, IA; and 7 grandchildren.
