CLINTON — Tom L. Hatheway, 66, of Clinton, IA, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, in Clinton. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2008, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Cremation will follow the visitation. Tom was born June 9, 1942, in Sabula, IA, the son of Arthur and Doris (Babcock) Hatheway. He married Audrey Witt on June 9, 1978, in Charlotte, IA. Tom was self employed as a truck driver his entire life, retiring earlier this year. He was also involved with Tom and Audrey’s Antiques in Clinton. He is survived by his wife, Audrey; one son, Jake (Megan) Hatheway of Yorkville, IL; two brothers, James (Evajean) Mangler of Sabula, IA, and Bill (Mitsue) Mangler of Davenport, IA; two sisters, Rita Clark of Sabula, IA, and Jeanne (Henry) Pemberton of Bellevue, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
