ELIZABETH, Ill. — John Haas, 87, of Elizabeth, died Sunday at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Elizabeth. The Rev. Harvey Nicholson will be officiating. Burial will be in Woodbine (Ill.) Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Elizabeth. Death date: Sept. 14, 2008
