MORRISON, Ill. — Patricia A. Emmert, 69, of Morrison, died Friday, August 8, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls, IL, with Pastor Dalmus Meeks, pastor of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, IL, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, IL. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Burn Unit. She was born April 20, 1939, in Dixon, IL, to Reon L. and Hazel J. (Brechon) Glessner.She was educated at St. Mary’s Catholic Grade and Jr. High School and graduated from Dixon High School in Dixon, IL. She married Robert L. Emmert on January 6, 1963, in Sterling, IL. He died September 11, 1996. She was employed by General Electric, Morrison, IL, for 35 years. Along with her late husband, Bob, Pat owned and operated Pat’s Tap in Morrison, IL, from 1985 to 1991. Pat attended Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls, IL. She was a member of the General Electric GEM Club and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include three sons, Robert (Mercedes) Glessner of Mt. Morris, IL, Steven (Julie) Emmert of Morrison, IL, and Stanley (Sandra) Emmert of Morrison, IL; seven grandchildren, Antonio (Allison) Glessner and Angela Glessner; Jacob and Ashley Penaflor, Brandon Emmert; Candace and Brooke Emmert; five great-grandchildren; Bennett and Lauren Glessner; Isaac Masini, Devon and Isabel Penaflor; two sisters, Joan (Don) Moore of Dixon, IL, and Jean (Jerry) Simon of Park Ridge, IL; and one brother, Howard (Jean) Glessner of Dixon, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Donna; two brothers, John and Richard Glessner. Death date: Aug. 8, 2008
