CLINTON — June Hereid, age 68, of Clinton, died Friday Aug. 1, 2008, at Mercy North Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. June was born on June 13, 1940, in West Frankfurt, IL, the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Winegar) Boyd. She married Mike Hereid on Aug. 31, 1967, in Dixon, IL. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Center Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls and gambling. June is survived by her husband, Mike of Clinton; a daughter, Phyllis (Jason) Paysen of Clinton; a son, Jeff Hereid of Camanche; three granddaughters, Crystal, Rose and Michaelia; a sister, Phyllis Haywood of Dixon, IL; and a brother, William Boyd of Springfield, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Jr. in 1991; and a brother, Shelby.Death date: Aug. 1, 2008
