MORRISON, Ill. — JoAnne Habben, 65, of Morrison, IL, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Coleta United Methodist Church, Coleta, IL. The Rev. Wesley S. Dickson, pastor of Coleta United Methodist Church, Coleta, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in West Genesee Cemetery, Coleta, IL. Memorials will be established. She was born May 23, 1943, in Palo Alto, California, to Donald P. and LaVeta (Massey) Patrick. She married Milford Habben July 06, 1964, in Santa Cruz, California. He survives. She graduated from high school in Redwood City, CA, and attended San Jose State University in San Jose, CA. She was homemaker and farmed with her husband, Milford, in Milledgeville and Chadwick areas. She was a former 4-H leader with the Cooperating Millies in Milledgeville, IL. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a avid wildlife observer and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her husband, Milford; one daughter, Cathie (Mrs. Mike) Downs, Chadwick, IL; one son, Don (Nikki) Habben of Taylor Ridge, IL; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Anne Bennett, Amanda Lyne Bennett, Taylor Kasia Luebbe, Grace Jordan Habben.
