FULTON, Ill. — Lucy Voss, 85, of Fulton, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IL. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The Rev. Bruce Wilterdink, interim pastor of First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be made to First Reformed Church’s choir, Fulton, IL. She was born June 9, 1923, in Newton Township, IL, to Martin and Gertie (Buikema) Vander Vinne. She was educated in Byers Grade School, of rural Whiteside County. She married Allan J. Voss on March 18, 1954, in Fulton, IL. He survives.She was employed by the former Clinton Garment Company, Clinton, IA, for 44 years retiring in 1986. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Fulton, IL, choir, and member of the church’s Kings Daughters Ladies Society. Lucy enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and neighbors. Survivors include her husband, Allan; nieces, Paulette (Frank) Walston of Fulton, IL; Debbie (Tom) Pratt of Erie, IL; and nephews, Gerry Vander Vinne of St. Charles, IL; Paul (Pam) Vander Vinne of Morrison, IL; Harold (Kathy) Vander Vinne of Morrison, IL; Marion (Karen) Vander Vinne of Fulton, IL She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Paul and Donald Vander Vinne.
