Vernice Heath
1912 - 2002Vernice A. Heath, 90, of 600 14th Ave. N., died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Heath was employed at the Tie Factory, Clinton; and owned and operated several taverns and a restaurant in the area. She also was employed many years as a bar maid at the former Subway Inn.
Vernice Knudson was born March 26, 1912, in Shawmut, Mont. She married Paul Heath in 1928 in Morrison, Ill. He died in 1970.
Memorials may be made to Wyndcrest and VNA Hospice.
Survivors include daughters, Jaqueline Ament, Plato, Mo., and Deanna Mussmann, Clinton; sons, Dennis, Clinton, and Terry, Plato; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brothers, Kenneth, Harlowton, Mont., and Paul, Clinton.
