Charles Early 10/31/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Charles Early, of 3407 N. 3rd St., will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Clinton, with a prayer service at 10 a.m. at Cannon Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in St. James' Cemetery, Toronto. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with a Scripture service at 3:30 p.m. Mr. Early died Thursday, Oct. 29, 1998, at Westwing Place, DeWitt. He farmed with brothers in the Calamus and Lost Nation areas until 1957 and then moved to Clinton. He and his brothers owned Early Trucking Co., Clinton, until 1978. He was born Feb. 27, 1902, in Lost Nation. A memorial fund has been established. Survivors include nieces, Lydia Kinney, Clinton, and Agnes Kinney, DeWitt; and nephews, Clarence Kinney, Grand Mound, and Mike Early, Spirit Lake.
