Henrietta Ebensberger 10/06/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Henrietta W. Ebensberger, of Clinton, will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home, Clinton. Pastor Fred Lubs will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today with AMVETS Auxiliary Post 28 and Women of the Moose 474. Each organization will conduct a brief service. Mrs. Ebensberger died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at her home. She was employed several years as a bookkeeper at the Clinton Herald. Henrietta Weinbeck was born April 12, 1915, in Clinton, to Charles and Matilda (Bohn) Weinbeck. She married Arlo M. Ebensberger on Oct. 12, 1938, in Clinton. He died April 21, 1971. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton, and a charter member of AMVETS Auxiliary, Clinton Post 28, as well as a 50-year member of Women of the Moose Lodge 474, Clinton. She also attended Thursday night bingo at the Moose Lodge. Memorials may be made to Clinton Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Care. Survivors include sons, Arlo M. Ebensberger, Clinton, and Donald Ebensberger, Deer Park, Texas; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
