Rodger Blunt 12/28/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Rodger W. Blunt, of Clinton, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, at his home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. He owned and operated Blunt Business Equipment Company for 35 years, retiring in 1979. He also had worked for four years at International Paper, Clinton. Mr. Blunt was born Oct. 10, 1914, in Charles City. He married Jeannette Carlsten in 1941 in Canton, Mo. Memorials may be made to IRIS for the Clinton Fire Department. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Sharon Craig, Rock Island, and Linda Fulton, Clinton; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Faith Engelkes, Green Valley, Ariz.; and a brother, Richard Blunt, Erie, Pa.
