LAUGHLIN, Mrs. W. E.
Mrs. W. E. LAUGHLIN, 729 S. 8th St., died Tuesday in her home. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s church. A prayer service at 9:30 a.m. in the Delaney funeral home will precede the mass. Friends may call at the funeral home. St. Mary’s parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m., today in the funeral home, followed by 8 p.m. by the recitation of the rosary by members of the Third Order of St. Francis. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary cemetery.
Kathryn L. O’BRIEN LAUGHLIN was born near Sterling, Ill., and was reared and educated there. She married William, E. LAUGHLIN on Nov. 12, 1921. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1960. She was a member of St. Mary’s church, the parish Altar and Rosary society and the Third Order of St. Francis.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John F. (Jean) QUINN of Elmwood Park, Ill.; two brothers, John of Chicago and Thomas of Sterling; one sister, Mrs. William (Mary) CONBOY of Omaha, Neb., three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband two brothers and one sister.
