DeWitt, Paul A. LEINBAUGH, 78, of DeWitt, died Friday at near Preston.
The funeral will be 110 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt, with the Rev. Ronald H. GOODSMAN, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial will be in Our Savior’s Cemetery, Calamus.
Pallbearers will be Mark FOX, Rich YEAGER, David STEINBECK, John LEINBAUGH, Matthew BARKALOW and Carmen THOMPSON.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ian FOX, Frank VERFAILLIE, Charles PETERSEN, Frances DESHAE and Marvin LECLAIRE.
He was born Dec. 15, 1919, in Lost Nation, to Alvin and Anna KAMMER LEINBAUGH. He married Mae Jean HORSTMANN, Dec 15, 1942, in Wheatland.
He was employed with Collis Company for 19 years, and also farmed in the Lost Nation and Grand Mound area.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, Lloyd LEINBAUGH of Rockford, Ill.; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Death date: Sept 4, 1998.
