1918 - 2003

Services for Douglas H. Lass, 84, Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Military services will be conducted at the burial.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home & Crematory. A Rose Croix service will be conducted there at 6:45 p.m.
Mr. Lass died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-North Campus, Clinton.
He was employed as an accountant at Curtis Co. and as a life insurance agent at Penn Life. He later owned his own insurance and real estate agency, which later merged with Neubauer and Darr Agency. He also was an appraiser.
He was born March 31, 1918, in Clinton. He married Elaine Sites in 1947 in Clinton.
During World War II, he served in the Army.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; and daughter, Lanie Lass, Champaign-Urbana, Ill.
