1910 - 2003

Services for Alverta M. "Tootie" Brandenburg, 92, Clinton, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Andover. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Clinton.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton.
Mrs. Brandenburg died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-South Campus, Clinton.
She had worked at Darlene’s Dress Shop, Lyons.
Alverta Peters was born Sept. 10, 1910, in Almont. She married Elmer Brandenburg in 1929 in Lyons. He died in 1964.
Memorials may be made to the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith Smith, Clinton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and brothers, Earl Peters, Tucson, Ariz., and Leonard Peters, Clinton.
