1916 - 2003

Services for Frank L. Wiese, 86, Clinton, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Nelson Heesch Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time. Family burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Wiese died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
He retired in 1981 from Waukesha Industries, formerly Climax. He had taught welding at Clinton High School for 37 years.
He was born June 23, 1916, in Scott County. He married Julia Charlson in 1938 in Clinton. She died in 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Kiefer, DeWitt; sons, Donald W., Clear Lake, Calif., and Michael D., Pensacola, Fla.; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Violetta Haley, Menomonee Falls, Wis., and Darlene Darlington, Amarillo, Texas; and brother, LaVerne Sr., Clinton.
