Robert Bohn Sr. 12/12/1998 CLINTON, Iowa -- Services for Robert H. Bohn Sr., formerly of Park Tower Apartments, 329 6th Ave. S., Clinton, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Clinton. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 2-4:30 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, with a Scripture service at 4 p.m. Mr. Bohn died Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998, at Wyndcrest Nursing Home, Clinton. He was employed in the field construction engineering division of DuPont, first at the Clinton Cellophane Plant and then at various sites throughout the United States, including Hanford Engineering Works, Richland, Wash., and Savannah River Project, Aiken, S.C., from 1940 to 1958. Afterward, he worked in the Nuclear Products Division of Lockheed Georgia Co., Marietta, until his retirement in 1972. He also had worked at McCarthy Improvement Co., Davenport, in the construction of locks and dams on the Mississippi River, most notably at Winona, Minn., Fulton, Ill., Guttenburg, Iowa, and Quincy, Ill. He was born Dec. 13, 1908, in Winona, Minn. He married Margaret Lanaghan in 1936 in Clinton. She died in 1969. A memorial fund has been established. Survivors include daughters, Katherine McCann, Clinton, and Sheila Anderson, Durham, N.C.; sons, Robert H. Jr., an associate justice of the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Weston, Mass., and Dr. Gerald J., Griffin, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Beddow, Dubuque.
