Maxine Claussen 11/21/1998 GOOSE LAKE, Iowa -- Maxine Claussen, of Goose Lake, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998, at Crestridge Nursing Home, Maquoketa. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ascension Lutheran Church, Goose Lake. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, and 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church. Mrs. Claussen was employed as lunch supervisor at Northeast Community School, Goose Lake. Maxine Schurbon was born March 10, 1922, in Jackson County. She married Jack Claussen in 1941 in Kahoka, Mo. Survivors include her husband; sons, Chuck, Charlotte, and John, Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and brothers, John Schurbon, Maquoketa, and Milton Schurbon, Lost Nation.
