Louis HARKSEN

Louis HARKSEN, 84, Davenport, former resident of the DeWitt area, died about 3:30 p.m. Monday after several days’ illness. The body is in the Runge funeral home, Davenport, where friends may call.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park, Davenport.

Mr. HARKSEN was born Feb. 19, 1891, at Goose Lake. He was married to Amanda KNUTSEN in DeWitt, living there for some time before moving to Davenport about 25 years ago.

Surviving are the widow: four sons, Melvin, Martin and Donald of Davenport, Louis of Walcott; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Johannes of Clinton, Alvin and Harry of DeWitt, and one sister, Mrs. Henry PETERSEN, Clinton.
