Jonathan Owen Nissen, 45, of Kailua, died April 14 at Castle Medical Center in Kailua. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Church of Christ in Maquoketa. Following the service, there will be a time to visit with the family at a luncheon, which will be served in the church dining room. His body was cremated and inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, at a later time. A service was held on the beach of the Marine Corp Base in Kaneohe, Hawaii, on April 18. Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa is in charge of the arrangements.
