CLINTON — Connie Rae Motroni, age 48, of Clinton, died Sunday May 11, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jason Manley, Charlie, Dan, Brandon Brunson, Shandon Maltas and Lee Dohse. Honorary pallbearers will be John Ruff, Kurt Templemann and Terry Cram. Connie was born on July 19, 1959, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Thomas and Doris (Smith) Maltas. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1977. She married Michael Motroni on Aug. 14, 1976, in Clinton. Connie had worked at the Mississippi Belle II as a slot attendant and as a sales clerk at Wal-Mart, Clinton. She enjoyed the river, house boating, puzzles, bingo and spending time with her family. Connie is survived by her husband, Michael, of Clinton; a son, Michael A. Motroni of Clinton; two daughters, Cristi Motroni of Coralville, IA, and Kelli Motroni of Clinton; three grandchildren, Mary Hannah Peart, Conner and Daden Motroni; her mother, Doris Maltas of Clinton; a brother, Terry (Tammy) Maltas of Clinton; three sisters, Debbie (Don) Dunlavy, Vicki (Carl) Brunson, and Jodie Lippens all of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her father. Death date: May 11, 2008
