NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Dwaine C. Jess, age 68, of North Platte, passed away at his home April 21, 2008. He was born July 7, 1939, in Clinton, Iowa, to Elmer and Dorothy (Grayvill) Jess. He attended Miles school.He married Wanda B. (Lupo) Jess, September 27, 1981 in Wony, Iowa.He worked various jobs in Clinton, Iowa, and throughout the Midwest.He attended Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in North Platte. He was a loving and caring person to all he met, especially his family.He is survived by 3 step-daughters; 1 step-son; sister Doris (Darrell) West; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; close friend Mary Robertson; nieces Cheryl (Craig) Haker and their 3 sons; Lori West; and his beloved dog, Charmin.He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lucinda Jess; wife, Wanda B. Jess.A memorial has been established and online condolences can be made at www.adamsswanson.com.Graveside Memorial services will be Friday, April 25, 2008, at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ron Lauber officiating. Memorial book signing will be at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home from 9 to 5 today and Thursday.Death date: April 21, 2008
