MECHANICSVILLE — Hilma Ann Jostad Galloway, 56, of Mechanicsville, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, in her home from cancer. The viewing will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel. It was Hilma’s wish to be cremated with no service.Hilma is survived by her husband, Geff; and children, Beth Ann Galloway and Raven Ricketts, Onslow, Travis Galloway and Jodi Shields, Mechanicsville, Geff Galloway and Kaytie Cousins, Cedar Rapids, Phillip Galloway and Nicky Bishop, Mechanicsville; and 19 grandchildren. Also surviving Hilma are sisters, Susie and Jack Onken, Martelle, Ruth Reiff and Keith Troxel, Preston, sister Sally Pfab, and a brother Joe and Lana Pfab, Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews; and her dog “Hank.”Preceding Hilma in death were her parents, Olaf and Dolly Hayes Jostad; a sister, Liz Clasen; and a brother, Tony Pfab.Instead of flowers and plants, memorials in Hilma’s honor may be mailed in care of her husband, Geff, at P.O. Box 356, Mechanicsville, Iowa, 52306.Death date: March 2, 2008
