John P. Burkey, 56, of Baldwin, died Sunday in rural Jackson County. There will be a celebration of his life at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services in Maquoketa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, rural Monmouth, Iowa.
