The Clinton Herald Monday April 18, 1988 p. 11 LeRoy J. Hagge, 88, of 750 13th Ave. S., died Sunday in Jane Lamb Health Center. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Katherine Dutton officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Pape Funeral Home, and from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert and Wayne Wilke, Alan Roenfeldt, Roland Hagge, Eldon Sander and Arlo Bock. Mr. Hagge was born Feb. 22, 1900, near Andover, to Jerry and Caroline Naeve Hagge. He married Berniece M. Thielen, April 12, 1922, in Clinton. He was an operator and extra foreman in the sugar department with Clinton Corn Processing Company for 33 years, retiring in 1966. Mr. Hagge was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Loyal Order of Moose No. 363, and Quarter Century Club of Clinton Corn. Survivors include his wife; a son, LeRoy C., of Clinton; three daughters, Mrs. Dean (Jeanette) Barnes and Mrs. John (Marilyn) DeWitt, both of Clinton, and Mrs. Henry (Darlene) Mumm of Folletts; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Alta Hansen, of Clinton. She was preceded in death by a son, two grandchildren, a sister and a brother.
