The Clinton Herald Monday February 2, 1981 p. 13 The funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula, for Walter Geronzin, 81, Sabula, who died Saturday in his home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Sabula. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Lester Marshall, Arnold Behn, Albert Marshall, Darrell Eggers, Dennis Carpenter and Mark Carpenter. He was born Jan. 1, 1900, in Wilton, to Jens and Emma Hanson Geronzin. He married Susan Marshall Aug. 25, 1923, in Clinton. They farmed all their married life in the Sabula area. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. William (Vida) Carpenter of Crofton, Md.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arnold, Anson and Manuel, all of Clinton; four sisters, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Matzen and Mrs. Jake (Viola) Timmer, both of Clinton, Mrs. Ralph (Camilla) Wilkenson of Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Bernice Limoges of Springfield, Ill. He was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and a son.
