The Clinton Herald Tuesday October 20, 1925 p. 8 Mrs. Stanley Martin of Preston, daughter of Charles W. Kenney, 532 South Sixth street, passed away at Mercy hospital Monday afternoon at 2:40 o'clock, where she had been a patient the past five weeks. She had been ill the past two months. Death was due to complications. The body reposes at the home of her father. The funeral will be held Thursday morning with Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock at St. Irenaeus church. Burial will be in the Holy Cross cemetery. Beatrice Mildred Kenney was born August 14, 1898 in Hampshire township and was 27 years of age at the time of her death. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Angels academy class of 1918. He mother, Rose Shannon Kenney preceded her in death, May 18, 1910. At St. Irenaeus church February 8, 1921 she was united in marriage with Stanley Martin of Preston, who with a son Donald and a daughter, Marion, survive her; also her father C.W. Kenney of this city, two sisters, Miss Lillian Kenney at Oakdale and Miss Monica of this city; four brothers, Charles J. Kenney of Rockford, Ill., Andrew Kenney, with the U.S. army in the Philippine Islands, Francis P. Kenney and Gerald Kenney of this city.
