The Clinton Herald Thursday March 26, 1925 p. 6 Carl F. Geronzin, an aged resident of Lyons, passed away at 1:30 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ingwer Christiansen, 903 Park street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Geronzin was 95 years of age and was born December 22, 1820 in Ribe, Denmark. He was a veteran of the Danish war of 1864 and came to America 30 years ago and has lived here since that time. Left to mourn his death are three sons: August, of Grand Mound; Jens, of Sabula, and John Geronzin, who lives on Beaver Island; three daughters, Mrs. Ever Hansen, of Beaver Island; Mrs. Ingwer Christiansen and Mrs. Joe Christiansen, both of Clinton; 26 grandchildren ad 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death two years ago by his wife and one son and two daughters also preceded him in death.
