The Clinton Herald Saturday December 8, 1934 p. 5 William H. Dixon, formerly of this city, died suddenly Friday afternoon in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon in the Bettendorf mortuary and procession will leave immediately thereafter for Clinton where burial will be in Sprindale cemetery. Mr. Dixon, who was familiarly known to Clinton friends at "Doc", lived in this city before moving to Bettendorf with his family. Surviving him are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Ottomar Korn and a son, Charles Dixon, both of Davenport; one brother, Charles E. Dixon of Clinton and one sister, Mrs. D.F. White, of Chicago.
