The Clinton Herald Tuesday July 19, 1955 p. 11 Word was received here today of the death Monday night of Fred Luckritz, former Clinton resident, in Sherman hospital, Elgin, Ill., after a short illness. Mr. Luckritz had lived in Elgin since leaving Clinton many years ago. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Schmitt funeral home, Elgin, with burial there. Mr. Luckritz was born in Germany Sept. 25, 1871, and came to Clinton chen a child with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Luckritz. He was married here to Lena Clausen, who survives. Also surviving are his aged mother, Mrs. Bertha Luckritz of Clinton; two grandsons and three great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, one daughter and one granddaughter.
