The Clinton Herald Friday April 8, 1921 p. 8 John Cavanaugh, 1105 South Fifth street, Clinton, who died Thursday afternoon at 1:10 o'clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cavanaugh, 410 S. Third street, following a prolonged illness with asthma, was born in Lyons, January 14, 1885, and was 36 years of age. He was a member of New Era camp 37 Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his wife who was formerly Miss Mabel Williams; four children, Harry, Leon, Helen and Bernice; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Cavanaugh; one sister, Miss Zora Cavanaugh of Chicago, and two brothers, Frank and Arthur Cavanaugh of this city. The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the home of his parents at the above address with services at St. Irenaeus church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
