The Clinton Herald Tuesday October 24, 1922 p. 10 DeWitt Edward Verstreet, residing south of DeWitt, passed away yesterday afternoon; his age was about 54 years. It is expected funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at St. Joseph's church in DeWitt. Mr. Verstreet leaves his mother, Mrs. August Verstreet, four sisters, Mrs. Con Boyle of Davenport, Mrs. Dan Cary of DeWitt and the Misses Katherine and Nellie at home, and one brother, Pat Verstreet.
