The Clinton Herald Thursday January 24, 1985 p. 14 Gary Lee Buell, 44, formerly of Clinton, died Monday in Houston of natural causes. The body was cremated. A private memorial service will be held in Clinton at a later date. The Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Mr. Buell was born Feb. 21, 1940, in Clinton, to William C. and Elfrieda Dethmann Buell. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1958 and entered the United States Air Force in 1961, serving four years. He moved to Texas following his discharge from the service where he was a used car salesman in Houston. Survivors include his mother; and three brothers, Glenn W. of Westport, Conn., Dale A. of Clinton, and Robert D. of Iowa City. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter.
