The Clinton Herald Saturday August 25, 2001 p. 11A Herman H. Krogman, 94, Clinton, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at the Mercy North Hospital in Clinton. Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Smith officiating. Visitation will Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Pape Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be at 4 p.m. and a rosary will be at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, John and Steve Krogman, David and Brian Elkins, Kent Schreiber and Darrell Thola. He was born Jan. 30, 1907, in Hampshire Township in Clinton County to Frank and Sophie Determann Krogman. He married Edna Andersen on Nov. 9, 1927, in Clinton. She died in 1995. He farmed his entire life north of Clinton, retiring in 1979 when he and his wife moved into Clinton. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Delores (LaVern) Elkins, Clinton, Mrs. Mary (Kenneth) Schrelber, Camanche, and Mrs. Elaine (Eldon) Hoerschelman, Bellevue; three sons, Raphael Krogman, Norbert Krogman and Henry Krogman, all of Clinton; 25 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Agnes Paskert, Lake Park. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant son, a son, a granddaughter, four brothers and four sisters. Death date: Aug. 24, 2001.
