The Clinton Herald Tuesday August 14, 1945 p. 8 Mrs. Henry Fanger, 92, resident of Clinton county for the past 74 years, died yesterday at 4 p.m. in her home on Eagle Point road after a three weeks' illness. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Shadduck funeral home. The body will be taken to the family home Wednesday afternoon and returned to the funeral home Thursday morning. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Anna Gregersen was born May 17, 1853, in Enge, Schleswig, Germany, and came to the old town of Lyons in 1871. She married Henry Fanger May 1, 1874, and the home was made on the farm where she died. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith while still in Germany. She was a charter member of Palm camp, R.N.A. She is survived by three sons, Louis Fanger of Sabula and Henry and Elmer Fanger at home and two daughters. Mrs. J.B. Agnew of Fulton, Ill., and Mrs. J.C. Brandenburg of Lanark, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
