The Clinton Herald Friday January 27, 1929 p. 6 A telegram was received this morning from Winona, Minn., telling of the death of his brother James E. Burke of that city. Deceased was well known in DeWitt, having visited here on several different occasions and at one time was located in this vicinity. Death was caused by acute heart trouble at 12:30 this morning. Funeral arrangements and obituary will be announced later.
