The Clinton Daily Herald Monday January 28, 1907 p. 8 Mrs. Katrina Grimm, who had attained the age of 84 years died Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claus Joens, 310 North Second street, after an illness of only a week's duration. The aged lady was born in Germany, and had made her home in America, but for the past 30 years, most of her children having been born in this country, but all of the living member of her family residing here. She is survived by three sons and three daughters, the daughters, Mrs. Claus Joens, Mrs. Henry Schroeder, residing in the country, Mrs. Herman Hansen near Bryant, the sons, Henry Grimm of the Elvira road, Martin Grimm of Davenport, and Charles Grimm of Idaho. Awaiting the arrival of the son from Idaho, the funeral arrangements will not be announced today. The services will be held tomorrow, if he should arrive in time, Wednesday afternoon if he comes on that day. The services will be held at the Joens home on North Second street.
