The Clinton Herald Thusday October 14, 1982 p. 9 Lulubell M. Rafferty, 80, of 602 Kenilworth Court, died Wednesday in Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, Ill. A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Leslie Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. She was born June 25, 1902, in Hector, Minn., to William and Emily Knutsen Jerpe. She received a teaching degree from Mankato State College in Minnesota, and taught school in Minnesota for 15 years. She married Leonard D. Rafferty Dec. 23, 1938, in Bemidji, Minn. They moved to Clinton in 1945, where she was employed at Nielsen Clearing House for 10 years. Survivors include a son, Thomas W. Rafferty of Wheaton, Ill.; three grandchildren; two brothers and a sister in the Chicago area. She was preceded in death by her husband.
