The Clinton Herald Thursday October 14, 1982 p. 9 The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church for Mrs. Eleanore Bendtschneider, 73, of 2604 N. 4th St. She died Wednesday in Jane Lamb Health Center. The Revs. Peter Anderson and Stanley Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Pape Funeral Home, and from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral in the church. Pallbearers will be Lewis and Merle Rathje, Ben and Raymond Meyermann, Leroy Claussen and Marvin Tolson. Mrs. Bentschneider was born Nov. 23, 1908, in Clinton, to John and Louise Kabel Jaeger. On May 8, 1932, she married Ray Bendtschneider in Clinton. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Ruth Circle. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. William (Sylvia) Zickau of Clinton and Mrs. Irvin (Louise) Humes of Marreo, La.; a son, John of LeClaire, Iowa; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
