The Clinton Herald Friday August 14, 1970 p. 12 Mrs. Mathilda Lueders, 63, 437 5th Ave. S., died Thursday in Mercy Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Eilert Nielsen officiating. Burial will be held in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call at the Pape funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Monday until the funeral. Pallbearers will be Al Warren, Henry Zaehringer, Paul Still, David Lueders, Adolph Kinavich, Lee Barber, Ronald Jurgensen and Fay Knutsen. Mrs. Lueders was born Nov. 22, 1906, in Charlotte, the daughter of Peter and Augusta Hammer Knutsen. She married Clarence Lueders, Feb. 24, 1926, in Charlotte. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include three sons, Donald of Camanche, Russell and Richard both of Clinton; one daughter, Mrs. A.P. (Arba) Sipes of Tulsa, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; three brothers, Herman Kuntsen of DeWitt, Ben Knutsen of Clinton and Peter Knutsen of Charlotte; four sisters, Mrs. Milo (Louise) Lueders of Clinton, Alma Knutsen of DeWitt, Mrs. Harold (Marie) Rickertsen of DeWitt and Mrs. Henry (Alta) Doescher of Low Moor and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents, one brother and one sister.
